Chad Sexton

Chad is the Co-Owner, CFO and kettlebell trainer at Iron and Grace.  He personally found the kettlebell to be the most effective way to build strength, flexibility and speed and it was much more fun than traditional weight lifting.  To that end, he was inspired to take the grueling, gold standard  RKC certification in 2009.  He is trained to work with the TRX, Rip Trainer and and rope undulation.  Being a lifetime athlete, teacher and a father gives Chad unique skills to motivate his students for an effective workout. His classes may include pieces of random historical information due to his voracious appetite for non-fiction. Chad enjoys an active lifestyle full of travel,  mountain biking and time with his family.

  • CYCLE CORE
  • This class combines HIIT on the Spinning bike and full body strengthening and lengthening on the TRX suspension trainer. A balanced class where you will burn calories, strengthen your core and optimize flexibility. A colourful trip through perfect circles of motion, as muscles tone and the heart pumps to incredible music and instruction. Please wear athletic shoes.
     

  • Kettlebells
  • A russian training technique using equipment that resembles a cannonball with a handle to dynamically and efficiently build functional strength. Kettlebell exercises also teach you to use a full range of motion and strengthen your entire body at one time. Whether your goal is improved coordination and balance, cardio-vascular fitness, fat loss, or dynamic strength for sporting events, kettlebells are by far the most efficient means possible. 

  • TRX CORE
  • This class proves that all you need is your body and some simple tools to get your core (and more!) in fantastic shape. This core focused class will put your attention on effective, efficient, deliberate work using Pilates principles and the TRX suspension trainer. Appropriate for all levels- you will be coached to find your most appropriate level of challenge.

  • TRX Circuits
  • A true circuit class focusing on the TRX suspension trainer, but incorporating all the talents and tools at Iron and Grace. Expect a high integrity and high intensity workout appropriate for all levels. Moving from one exercise to the next, you will get an effective full body strength, cardio and flexibility workout.

  • Kettlebell express
  • Rise and shine and grind and swing! This efficient 45 minute workout will have you sweating and building strength. Kettlebell exercises  teach you to use a full range of motion and strengthen your entire body at one time. You will control forces of physics with your core.  You will gain improved coordination and balance, cardio-vascular fitness, fat loss, and dynamic strength for all sports

  • Turkey Burner 75
  • Burn more calories in 75 minutes than you ever dreamed imaginable with this high intensity circuit training class. Core, core and more core from your core training specialists! This dynamic, constant moving class will leave you feeling empowered and invigorated. Using the kettlebell, ropes, TRX, Rip Trainer and your body we will kick your holiday season off right. Although challenging, this class is taught so that you can be your best and all levels are welcome.

  • Saturday Morning circuits
  • A true circuit class to set your weekend off on the right foot! An invigorating mix of cardiovascular exercise, strength and flexibility training. It is a grab bag of FUN! TRX, Rip, Ropes, barre. Set your weekend off right!

  • Iron Circuit: TRX & Kettlebells
  • Get all your fitness needs met in this awesome class incorporating kettlebells and the TRX suspension trainer. Build explosive strength, dynamic flexibility and cardiovascular fitness while having tons of fun! Expect cameos from the ropes and other fun props!

  • TRX-travaganza!
  • This circuit class is marked by extreme freedom of style and structure but always delivers TRX based full body conditioning and you will be worked out as well as entertained with weekly themes. You'll work on balance, agility, core and more. Moving from one exercise to the next, you will get an effective full body strength, cardio and flexibility workout.
